An Old Fashioned Day

Today, my good friend Bev and I are visiting Dunedin...it's my favorite place to be in Florida..
it's just down the road from Clearwater..which is also very beautiful, but it's my very favorite place.
It's like stepping into the ninteen hundreds with cobblestoned streets and quaint shops..lots of
antique shops and lots of very good resturuants...they have an Irish shop and,of course, a Scottish shops because it was mostly settled by the Scots and people from the Netherlands.
I just love it.
It's a little cool for Florida but I like that..it will only get up to the sixties today but a light jacket should do it.. (daughter-in-law) said, don't dare complain about the sixties) I really don't...
I make sure I visit at least once, but it's usually four or five times while we are here..People are so nice and friendly in Florida, yes, they come from all over but it seems that when they land here they become nicer somehow..and maybe because most are tourists...they will stop to chat.
A few years ago I bought a beautiful topaz ring, and was so happy with it...unfortunately when I
had it sized I found out it was worth more then I payed for it...of course I bragged about it and it was soon stolen...I'm always on the lookout for a bargin so perhaps I'll find one today.. wish me
luck...
I am so thrilled to be here and am enjoying every moment..I will put up a fight when it's time to go home in April...but you can't hide from your problems forever....but you can bet I will try...
